Restaurant description

At Safari Ostrich Show Farm, we have an elegant restaurant that can seat 120 clients in a non-smoking and air-conditioned atmosphere. We then also have a lovely outdoors shaded restaurant section that can seat an additional 140 clients. The outside area is wonderful for the summer months and features an evaporative cooling system.

The highlight of all our Set-Menu Meals is the Ostrich Fillet, which we marinate overnight and prepare to perfection, our fillet is served with our delicious secret Apricot Mustard Sauce. Ostrich Fillet is one of the healthiest Red Meats?, as it has no fat content and is low in cholesterol. This makes it not only the healthy alternative but also a delicious alternative. All our meals are served with Seasonal Vegetables, Fresh Garden Salads, Home-baked Bread, mouth-watering Desserts and Tea or Coffee.

Our starter is a freshly made Vegetable Soup, which is based on the best fresh seasonal vegetables available. We do also cater for special dietary requirements if arranged in advance. On special request we can provide you with Vegetarian Menu?s depending on your requirements.

We have an exquisite range of Locally produced Wines available. These wines are produced just outside Calitzdorp a little town, 50kms from Oudtshoorn. They are members of the Cape Winemakers Guild and has emerged as the Champion Cellar fourteen times at the annual Southern Cape Bottle Wine Show.
