Restaurant description

This quaint little restaurant is on the beachfront in Paternoster. It is an old fishermans house build out of wood and corrugated roofing. The place is very busy so it is best to book even for lunch especially if you would like a table out on the verandah which is lovely in summer but would make sure to be inside in the winter as the Cape can be very cold and wet at that time of the year.

The Voorstrandt Restaurant is situated in a 114 year old quaint red and green tin house, right on the white sandy beach with panoramic views of the sand, sea and sky. Meals are served from 10am to 10pm. Enjoy an idyllic sunset whilst watching whales play in the bay.

Whether you are looking for a leisurely day or a romantic evening, this quaint beach restaurant set in a historic 114 year old tin fisherman's cottage overlooking the endless un spoilt beaches in a working fishing village is the place to be. Come and savor sumptuously prepared meals while being spoilt by true west coast hospitality.
