Restaurant description

Woodpecker Pizza Deli is a local favourite, boasting a large variety of imported and local deli products, including wine, cold meats and cheeses. We are famous for our thin-base pizzas, made with our fresh, gourmet deli ingredients. Extensive menu includes salads, pastas, schnitzels, chicken and beef burgers, veal. Gourmet sandwiches from freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses are delicious! We also offer sample cheese and meat platters, local olives and pickles.

The atmosphere is relaxed and vibey with international cafe music and colourful African traditional beats. There are also rare African antiques and modern curios for sale throughout the shop.

The day we went we met the very stunning Belinda and Alex, the owners and hosts of this restaurant which can't be missed while passing through or staying in the beautiful town of Swellendam.
