Description: The new look Burgundy Restaurant on the seafront in Hermanus has a warm, welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere and simply excellent hand crafted food. Set in the oldest building in town it also offers the best vantage point for people spotting. Seductive aromas of bread baking in the kitchen bakery and roasted coffee beans blend with salt sea air rising from the Old Harbour just a stone’s throw away. The views are spectacular and diners can expect to have their meal interrupted by breaching whales in season. The menu reflects seasonal produce from the region, line fish caught along the local coast and the chef’s Free State passion for quality meat prepared from traditional, tried-and-true recipes.
