From Cape Town take the M3 freeway through to Lakeside. Exit the M3, turn left and at the robots turn right into the Main Road. Follow the Main Road through to Fish Hoek. Turn left at the circle and head towards Simon's Town/Seaforth Beach. When you reach Seaforth Beach, turn left into Seaforth Road and proceed to Seaforth Restaurant.

The Chef, Reiner Frackenpohl was born in 1944 in Germany. He started training in 1961 in a hotel in Solingen. After his training he went to Switzerland for half a year where he worked in Lichtenstein and for 6 months in Bermuda and did his army training.
After his army training he came to South Africa in September 1967 where he worked at the Edward Hotel, Elangeni Hotel, Zululand Safari Lodge and the Sabi River Bungalow?s. From 1977 to 1982 he spend time in Germany where he had his own restaurant in the City Hall called Rastube.
In 1982 he came back to South Africa and worked for 10 years at the Beach Comber Restaurant in Camps Bay. After that he worked at Leinster Hall in the Gardens area, Cape Town, until 2000. He joined the Destination Restaurant group and was part of the opening team at Seaforth Restaurant. In November 2010 he was part of the opening team of Barracudas, the sister restaurant to Seaforth in Fish hoek. Reiner is a partner in the restaurant which is rapidly becoming one of the favourites in the South Peninsula.
